Air Gear Ringo "Bewlix" by Saviant

When Saviant (from SRKs forums) got his hands on one of the remaining B15 "Bewlix" cases, he knew that he had to do something special with it. Being a fan of Ringo Noyamano from Ogure Ito's Air Gear manga, he asked me to do a top panel design featuring her for his case.

Seeing as the "Bewlix" moniker comes from the Taito Vewlix cabinet, I decided to copy the basic design of that cabinet's control panel while the bits of art that Saviant had asked me to use. Instead of plain red, I used a very dark purple (almost black) version of ink splatter wave background from the SSFIV site and then added a tear from which you can see the character's eyes. The colours were chosen to contrast with the pearl white paint of the case.

As you can see, I had originally added both PS3 and XBox 360 button labels, assuming that Saviant would be doing a dual-modded stick, which as it turned out, wasn't the case.  Another thing is that screws were used to mount the acrylic instead of just the buttons and some friction on the edges of the acrylic, the B15 logo ended up being covered by the screw - something which Saviant tells me he'll fix, eventually (since the file I game him isn't flattened).
