Created for the venerable QCF Gaming case, the following is a request by Lefty from the Shoryuken.com forums for a design that was similar to the original MadCatz Femme Fatale Tournament Edition FightStick but featuring only the characters that he wanted.
The characters in question are were Cammy, Chun Li from Street Fighter II/Super SFII & C. Viper from Street Fighter IV joined by Ibuki from Street Fighter III and Juri from Super Street Fighter IV. The resulting arwork is this piece.
The piece is actually a mix of official art from both the original SFIV and the update/sequel SSFIV by request of the customer. The positioning of the characters is mostly based on my preference (since I am biased towards both Juri and Cammy), however it does help that the characters are rivals in game. For Juri, I placed her by the buttons since her right leg goes with them quite nicely. Chun Li and C. Vipers standing poses worked quite well on the bottom/front row and Ibuki in her "kunai toss" pose (with her racoon Don-chan) works well up top. While the stick itself uses clear Seimitsu buttons, the characters are still arranged so that none of them are totally covered by the parts.
The background is the Super Street Fighter IV logo laid out diagonally over some ink splash effects taken from the design of SSFIV's official site. This is given a slight yellow tinge so as to match the maple wood of the case.
Here are some more images of the finished stick.

Close up from the right side, I've a feeling that Fierce Punch button is going to get used alot.
As for technical details, the stick uses the Joytron/Datel dual console PCB which supports both Playstation 3 and XBox 360. The buttons, as previously mentioned are Seimitsu PS-14-KNs, while the stick is a Sanwa JLF with a Seimitsu LB-39 bubble top and no shaft cover.
