Sometimes you just have to have a sexy lady on your arcade stick, and who better than Capcom's fighting gals.
This series of designs was inspired by some customs original built by UK builder B15SDM. The base is the "Ripped BG" design I've used for a few designs, combined with the familiar Taito Vewlix lookalike design. The subjects are Capcom's most iconic female fighting game characters from Street Fighter and Darkstalkers/Vampire. The art for these ladies has been edited - inspired by B15 - in a way that most of the colour has been stripped from the art and the bightness and contrast adjusted so that their skin glows alabster white. Addional white "glow" is then airbrushed over the art, combined with some tweaked lines and shadow, this gives the art a tiltillating effect where the character looks as if they're naked or baring something, but you can't really tell due to the glow effect. Colour then is painted back in over certain parts (eyes, lips, hair, etc.)
The first piece of this series I did. Originally meant to be a one off, this was directly inspired by a B15 custom. Most of the technicques used for these pieces were refined here. Unlike with the suceeding pieces, I'm not using colours naturally associated with Felicia here, but rather pink and purple as with the B15 piece that inspired this to match her eyes and lips. Main image is a Warren Louw piece.
Unlike the previous piece, this Cammy piece does stick to colours naturally associated with her. This piece took awhile since I couldn't decide on the right mix of red and green. Probably the most risque piece of the collection. Don't ask about the dolphin.
Off course, no D3Vlicious collection is complete without Morrigan. Surprisingly, she's wearing more here than the previous characters. With some slight edits to a piece of official art, Morrigan now looks like her top is falling off as if she just got out of bed. Added more colour to this than the rest to avoid having an abundance of grey. Background art is from Homare, I particularly like how piercing her green eyes turned out to be. The wing you see near the middle is actually part of Lillith.
Finally, no collection of "Capcom fighting ladies" is complete without the first lady herself, Chun Li. Again, she's wearing a bit more than Cammy and Felicia, opting to merely show some cleavage in another Warren Louw piece that I modified to show more skin.

As usual, all the art has button labels for both PS3 and XBox 360 and in 8 and 6 button configurations.
